WNY Southtowns Scenic Byway

The WNY Southtowns Scenic Byway has been unanimously approved by the NYSDOT's Scenic Byways Advisory Board on the 18th of October, 2007!!!

The Urban Design Project helped prepare the nomination study. The WNYSSB website has the nomination study, maps, and other important information available. Located in the beautiful "Southtowns" of Erie County; the proposed byway is a project grown out of the community's interest in protecting their natural environment and cultural heritage while at the same time providing ways to expand and reinforce their economies. The route travels through the townships of Orchard Park, Boston, Concord, Colden and Aurora, the three villages of Orchard Park, Springville and East Aurora and several rural hamlets including the hamlets of Boston and Colden.
