Jessie Hersher
Jessie Hersher joined the Urban Design Project in April 2009. She is currently working towards a Masters in Urban Planning with a dual specialization in Environmental Planning and Urban Design. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Environmental Studies with a Minor in History from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Her primary interests are Placemaking, Public Policy, Sustainable Planning Practices and Alternative Dispute Resolutions in planning. For the Urban Design Project, Jessie is primarily involved with the facilitation of public events and has worked on the Western New York Environmental Alliance and the Richardson Olmsted Complex projects.
Jessie came to pursue her Master’s degree after spending a few years working at the Program Coordinator for the Tahoe Science Consortium and the Volunteer Coordinator for the UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center. She is currently one of the student representatives to the WNY APA chapter and looks forward to learning more about the Buffalo area.
