Kimberley Moore
Kimberley Moore joined the Urban Design Project in 2009. She is currently working towards a Masters in Urban Planning with a dual specialization in Economic & International Development and Urban Design. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Sociology with a Minor in English and U.S. History from UB. Her primary interests are Sustainable Design, Placemaking, Urban Revitalization, Public Policy and Environmental Psychology.
Kimberley has been actively involved in the community, interning for the Buffalo Common Council President David Franczyk, and was also previously a fellow at the Center for Urban Studies, working on Buffalo’s East Side in the Fruit Belt on Community Gardens and Phytoremediation. Her current focus is in creating an Urban Planning program for Buffalo Public School students in a partnership with LP Ciminelli.
Kimberley currently holds the office of President of the Graduate Planning Student Association (GPSA). She is also Director of Community Relations for Urban Canvas Project of Buffalo, a local non-profit arts initiative. She enjoys painting and photography in her free time.
