Susannah Barton
Susannah Barton joined the Urban Design Project in January 2008 when she began her graduate studies at the University at Buffalo’s Masters of Urban Planning (M.U.P.) program. As part of her curriculum, Susannah will participate in the Sustainable Futures study abroad program at the Monteverde Institute in Costa Rica during the summer of 2008. Susannah’s primary project work at the Urban Design Project is focused on Building UB: Comprehensive Physical Plan.
Susannah is a native of Texas. She earned her B.A. in Business Administration from Austin College in Sherman, Texas in May 2001. Before entering the M.U.P. program, Susannah worked in commercial banking where she specialized in global treasury management. Susannah’s primary focus was treasury management for the public sector and higher education. She received her Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation in December 2004.
Susannah is an active volunteer in the Buffalo community. She is a member of the Junior League of Buffalo and a tutor for Literacy Volunteers of Buffalo and Erie County. In her spare time Susannah enjoys gardening with her husband and exploring in the wonderful City of Buffalo where they reside with their two dogs, Mac and Boo Radley.
