William Smith
Bill has been working for the Urban Design Project since January of 2006. He is currently in his first year of UB’s Masters in Urban Planning program with a specialization in environmental and physical planning. His main interests are in land-use management, sustainable design, and historic preservation. William also believes that methods in urban planning can be used as an effective tool for eliminating socioeconomic inequities across a global landscape.
Since his beginning with the UDP, William has demonstrated strengths in research, writing, site analysis, imagery, and mapping on a number of local and regional projects. These include, but are not limited to the WNY Southtowns Scenic Byway and Building UB: The Comprehensive Physical Plan
