Chad Stotz
Chad Stotz joined the Urban Design Project in August of 2009 as a graduate assistant. He was born and raised in the Buffalo area his entire life. After working in sheet metal and air conditioning, he decided to return to school. It was then that he enlisted in the Environmental Design Program here at UB. He graduated in the spring of ’09 and is just starting the Masters of Urban Planning curriculum.
He interned at Buffalo First, a local non-profit organization dedicated to building a local, fair and green economy in the Buffalo region through educational outreach. At Buffalo First, his main duty was researching and organizing fast-facts on reducing your carbon footprint for their 2009 all-local coupon book.
Chad’s interests in urban planning span across the board, but more specifically in sustainable design. He believes that bettering the places in which we live is something to truly be proud of.
