Charrette Overview
The Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy (BOPC) is currently directing the preparation of a restoration and management plan for the City of Buffalo's Olmsted-designed park and parkway system. The BOPC has engaged a design team headed by The Urban Design Project at the School of Architecture and Planning at the University at Buffalo to prepare the draft plan for Conservancy and public review.
As part of this work, The Urban Design Project led two sets of Design Charettes, held on April 11-13, 2005 and May 11-13, 2005 at the Center for Computational Research.
