How Can I Get Involved?

There are a lot of different ways to be involved in the Buffalo Waterfront Corridor Initiative.

Stay informed. The Initiative will publish a newsletter about ongoing activities on a quarterly basis. Get on the mailing list and you’ll receive a copy each time.

Check the Initiative web site. News, announcements, scheduled events, progress reports, and other resources will be posted there and updated regularly.

Participate in one of the public review sessions to be held throughout the effort. Look for announcements in your local paper, the newsletter or the website.

Attend your Community Planning Council in the Good Neighbors Planning Alliance. The Initiative will work especially closely with Riverside, West Side, Central and South Buffalo communities.

But the waterfront belongs to everybody. So, work through your neighborhood association, parish, sporting group, political club, or environmental organization to follow – and influence – the process.
